Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Vulkain (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

2. The Service

Vulkain is a business gaming platform that provides tools to help game creators distribute, monetize, and scale their games. Phase 1 focuses on Steam key inventory, distribution links, and redemption tracking. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login credentials and magic-link access secure.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 16 where required for personal data processing).
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the platform or other users.

4. Your content and Steam keys

You retain ownership of game titles, account metadata, and Steam product keys you upload. You grant Vulkain a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service (for example encrypting keys, serving redemption pages, and showing dashboards).

You represent that you have the right to upload and distribute any keys or materials you provide, and that your use complies with Steamworks and other platform agreements. You remain responsible for how keys are issued and for any disputes with recipients.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to distribute keys in ways that violate Steam, Epic, or other platform rules, including unauthorized resale where prohibited.
• Attempt to probe, disrupt, or bypass security, rate limits, or tenancy controls.
• Upload malware, scrape the Service abusively, or interfere with other customers.
• Misrepresent your identity or the origin of keys or distribution links.

6. Public redemption links

When you create a distribution link, recipients may redeem keys without a Vulkain account. You are responsible for how you share those links, for caps and access controls you configure, and for communications with recipients.

7. Intellectual property

Vulkain, its branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to copy or resell the Service except as needed to use it as intended.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that key distribution will meet every commercial outcome you expect.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vulkain and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) €100, if the Service was free.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Vulkain against claims arising from your keys, games, distribution practices, or violation of these Terms or third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply. Courts in Paris, France shall have jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory protections.
